Vice President of Business Development, Industrial

Our company is seeking a strategic and visionary Vice President of Business Development to lead our business development efforts in the RFID Industrial market. As the Vice President of Business Development for the RFID Industrial Market, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and nurturing relationships with key accounts and partners, and driving market expansion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to ensure that our business development efforts are aligned with our overall business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy that drives revenue growth, customer acquisition and retention, and market expansion in the RFID retail market.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, joint ventures, and M&A activities, that align with our business strategy and objectives.

  • Build and nurture relationships with key accounts and partners, and develop a deep understanding of their needs and objectives.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for business development efforts.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activity.

  • Negotiate and close deals with new and existing partners, ensuring that they align with our strategic objectives and financial targets.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with industry associations, regulatory bodies, and other key stakeholders.

  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in business development processes, tools, and techniques.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. 

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in the RFID retail market.

  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth, customer acquisition and retention, and market expansion in the RFID retail market.

  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.​

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of RFID technology and the retail industry is preferred.

  • ​Experience in managing business development teams across multiple regions is preferred.
